[The words cut deep but Ino doesn't show even an expression of pain. She had been grieving for almost a month then, and while it still hurts because she doesn't think the anguish will lessen any until she goes back home, Ino's been quietly albeit slowly accepting her father's demise.

So instead, she gives a small smile, and while little, shows of the way she has been staying strong.]


So I've been told.

[This smile turns a tad wider because memories are such traitors. They warm her up but also tears her apart.]

But I already know this as a fact even when I was still a little girl.
